Introduction |
| The Institute of Environment and Resources (IER) was established in 1993 to conduct policy research and disseminate results to the public and sectors. IER is Taiwan’s first environment policy research institute; it was conceived, created and registered as such by Environment Protection Administration, Taiwan, R.O.C.. (EPA). The Institute provides technical and policy analysis that supports the formulation of policies with long-term implications for sustaining environmental, social and economic development in Taiwan.
